These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the nobility.now platform, operated by nobility.now. By accessing or using nobility.now, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
nobility.now is a youth fundraising platform that enables young people to create purpose-driven fundraising campaigns with parental oversight. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
All donations made through nobility.now are processed securely by Stripe. By making a donation, you authorize nobility.now to charge your payment method for the amount specified. Donations are generally non-refundable except at our discretion in cases of fraud or technical error.
An optional fee-coverage feature allows donors to cover processing fees so that 100% of the gift amount reaches the campaign. This is always opt-in and clearly disclosed at the time of donation.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@nobility.now if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You may not use nobility.now to:
nobility.now exists solely to support legitimate youth mission trip fundraising. The following activities are strictly prohibited on the platform:
You may not use nobility.now for any activity that violates local, state, federal, or international law. This includes but is not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, or the facilitation of any criminal enterprise.
Campaigns must truthfully represent the mission, the fundraiser, and how donated funds will be used. Creating fictitious campaigns, inflating costs, misrepresenting the identity of a campaign creator, or diverting funds for personal gain is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
The platform may only be used for legitimate youth mission trip fundraising. You may not use nobility.now for:
Campaign creators and their supporters must treat all donors with respect. The following are prohibited:
Because all payments are processed through Stripe, you must also comply with Stripe's Prohibited and Restricted Businesses list. Campaigns or activities that fall under any Stripe-prohibited category will be removed, and associated accounts may be suspended without notice.
nobility.now reserves the right to review, suspend, or permanently remove any campaign or user account that violates this Acceptable Use Policy. In cases of suspected fraud or illegal activity, we may report the matter to the appropriate authorities and cooperate fully with any investigation.
The nobility.now name, logo, and platform design are the property of nobility.now Campaign content you create remains yours. By posting content on the platform, you grant nobility.now a non-exclusive license to display it in connection with operating and promoting the platform.
By creating a Noble Cause on nobility.now, the youth fundraiser and their parent or guardian jointly agree to the following commitments:
Abandoning the Cause, misusing donor funds, refusing to report back to donors, or otherwise breaking these commitments may result in the campaign being removed from nobility.now, donations being refunded to donors, the account being suspended, and — in cases of suspected fraud — the matter being referred to the appropriate authorities.
Inability to Complete the Cause. In the event the campaigner is unable to complete their noble cause for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the campaigner (and, if a minor, their parent or guardian) understands it is their sole responsibility to promptly notify their donors and refund or reconcile all donations received. nobility.now bears no financial responsibility for undelivered campaigns.
nobility.now is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. nobility.now is not responsible for the conduct of campaign creators, the application of donated funds, or any losses arising from use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the preceding 12 months.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide notice of material changes via email or SMS where applicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
